Tomas Rosicky and Mikel Arteta will both be offered new deals in the summer.

That’s according to recent press reports.

The pair, who are both out of contract at the end of the season, will be offered a new deal to stay at the club and the manager is hopeful that he can get them both to agree.

Tomas Rosicky would be the biggest doubt as he has already expressed his desire for more playing time and the fact that he seriously considered quitting the club in January.

Mikel Arteta, club captain, would certainly seem to be destined to stay. He has missed the majority of this season with injury and would seem to have more reason to remain at the club than Tom.

There was no mention of Mathieu Flamini who is also out of contract in the summer and it seems certain that he will be on his way once the window opens.

If there’s one thing Mat loves more than pointing and shouting, it is a free transfer.
