Yohan Cabaye appears to once again be in Arsene’s sights after failing to hold down a first team place at PSG.
Cabaye, who moved to PSG in January 2014 for £15.5 million has made 27 appearances for the Ligue 1 team in all competitions, and reports suggest that with the European Championships next summer he wants to cement a first team place and get some regular playing time.
Links between Arsenal and Cabaye are well known, with the club trying to sign him twice while he was at Newcastle, and Arsene is known to be an admirer of the midfielder.
Reports in the Mirror claim that the £10 million bid that failed to secure Cabaye in the past would be enough for PSG to let the 29-year-old go.
If first team playing time is what Cabaye is after, I am not sure that Arsenal would be the place to get it currently.
However if he is willing to fight for a place in the midfield then he could be a really useful squad player, with proven Premier League and Champions League experience.
