Alexis Sanchez has been speaking about his love for Arsenal Football Club and admiration for fellow footballer and teammate, Santi Cazorla.

Speaking ahead of our clash against London title rivals Chelsea, forward Sanchez has revealed his pride for his new club, saying, “I am not saying this just because it’s my obligation to do it as a club player. Every Arsenal player has amazing quality. I want to win many titles here.”

He was adamant to point out how he wasn’t just saying this because that’s what players are supposed to say, he genuinely loves the club.

The Chilean, who’s scored 22 goals in all competitions for the Gunners so far this season, also described his professional admiration for teammate Cazorla, who is enjoying one of the best seasons of his career. The Spaniard is currently playing out of his skin and has been one of our stand-out players this year.

Alexis describes the midfielder as ‘spectacular‘, saying, “You never know whether he will kick the ball with his right or left foot. Also, he moves with short but quick strides, which is a remarkable trademark too. Although I knew about his quality, playing alongside makes him makes me very happy.”

It’s encouraging to see the players praising each other off of the pitch, as well as on it. It shows a solidarity that is clearly translating into form in matches. Keep it up!
