Arsene Wenger spoke with the press immediately after his side’s 2-1 win against Newcastle on Saturday.

Taking a two-goal lead into the break, Newcastle put Arsenal under severe pressure in the second half and only some last ditch defending and great goalkeeping kept them from scoring a second.

As it was, Arsenal kept the gap between them and second-placed Manchester City at just one point and with six wins in a row in all competitions and six in a row in the Premier League, you wouldn’t be surprised to see them overhaul the out-going Champions.
