Arsenal may have had their Champions League dreams crushed for another season, but it’s not all bad news.

Well, it’s not great and I’m not going to pretend that this in any way makes up for failing to beat Monaco, but two Arsenal players have been selected in the team of the round for the last 16 second leg.

What is perhaps surprising is that one of them, Aaron Ramsey, didn’t even start the game in Monaco much to the surprise of many as Arsene Wenger opted for Danny Welbeck instead.

Mesut Ozil is the other Arsenal man who, once again, has his performances noticed by people who don’t live in the United Kingdom.
