The Daily Star are reporting that Inter Milan want to sign Wojciech Szczesny.

The Arsenal shotstopper, who has found himself demoted recently is set to return to goal for the Gunners for their FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford on Monday night.

It is claimed that Roberto Mancini will move for the Pole in the summer as he looks to replace Samir Handanovic who is said to be on his way to Manchester United. Louis van Gaal’s men have, apparently, lined up a bumper offer for him (they’d maybe be better presenting it rather than lining it up, but what do I know).

The piece also claims that Arsene Wenger has run out of patience with Woj and cite the smoking (yawn) episode at St Mary’s.

I’m not buying it.

Well, it’s fair enough to believe that Inter Milan could be considering a move for Szczesny, why wouldn’t they if they need a keeper?

He’s young, extremely talented with his whole career ahead of him and, from the outside, it appears as if he could be amenable to a move.

But will Arsenal let him leave?

I can’t see it at all even if the Star claim Arsenal want to replace him with Fiorentina’s Norberto Neto.

Besides, that’s an awfully big goalkeeper merry-go-round.

There may well be no smoke without fire, but in this case it’s probably just Woj having another puff.
