Mikel Arteta has been speaking to UEFA about Xabi Alonso.

In a series of interviews given to celebrate the Bayern Munich man’s 100th Champions League appearance (in which he was sent off), the Arsenal captain spoke about playing with the former Liverpool man when they were around seven years old and the respect he has for the player who came very close to signing for Arsenal before he went to Real Madrid.
