Alexis Sanchez is a little bit excited about the upcoming friendly between Chile and Brazil.

To be hosted at the Emirates on 29th March this year, tickets went on general sale on Thursday for the price of £15 concession and £30 for adults.

The game will be a chance to watch the most successful footballing nation take on Alexis’ own Chile and with a 3pm kick-off there is sure to be plenty of demand.

Speaking to Arsenal (received via member’s email) Sanchez said

“I am so excited and honoured that I will get to play for the national team of Chile, against our great rivals Brazil, in front of the incredible Arsenal fans at the Emirates Stadium.

“I also look forward to playing against my good friend Neymar and welcoming him, and the rest of the Brazil team, to the Emirates Stadium.

“Matches between Brazil and Chile are always exciting matches and for me, to play this game at The Emirates Stadium, will make the match even more special.”

Alexis will be sidelined this weekend for the game against Tottenham.

Still recovering from the hamstring problem he picked up after the Brighton FA Cup game, it had been hoped that he would be fit enough to be included in the squad.

However, speaking to Arsenal.com on Thursday, Arsene Wenger confirmed that Sanchez would not be fit again until Leicester at the earliest.
