Thierry Henry will start his new adventure into coaching by starting his badges – in Wales.

The 37-year-old who retired from playing at the end of last year will undertake his UEFA B licence course at the Football Association of Wales’ headquarters which is located at Dragon Park in Newport this summer.

Delivering a short presentation to a class of under-16’s, Henry visited the headquarters this week to inspect the facilities and determine if they were capable of containing his awesomeness.

It seems they were.

The Arsenal legend will be joined by his fellow Invincible, Freddie Ljungberg, after Patrick Vieira recommended the course.

The former Arsenal captain completed the course and gave his fellow Invincibles a ‘glowing recommendation.’

Sol Campbell and Jens Lehman also completed their badges there.

Expected by many to return to Arsenal in some sort of coaching capacity once he has all the requisite badges in place, Henry is on his way. Will Freddie be coming with him?
