Alexis Sanchez is a doubt for Sunday with a minor injury.

The forward is suffering from a ‘hamstring concern’ according to Arsene Wenger and will undergo a late check before the game to determine if he is able to take part.

It is somewhat ironic that the player, whom many have called to be rested before he picks up an injury, has picked up an injury after being rested.

On the bench for the game against Brighton last weekend at the Amex, Sanchez was brought on as a second half substitute late in the game.

While it certainly doesn’t seem to be anything that could keep him sidelined for any length of time, any injury picked up by an Arsenal player naturally causes us all to fear the worst.

But, knowing Sanchez, he’ll most likely start the game, score a hattrick and grab a few assists while using only one leg.
