Suditi Industries, a Mumbai-based textiles company, will be Arsenal’s official apparel maker.

The company, who already produce apparel for both FIFA and Real Madrid, will produce a wide-range of merchandise as well as sports clothing for the team themselves.

There has been no word if this means that the millions of women who support Arsenal will actually now be given a choice as wide as the men’s or if they will have to make-do with the three pink items currently available.

There are plans for Suditi’s in-house fashion brand, Riot, to produce T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, boxers, polos and track pants.

Speaking to the media, Pawan Agarwal, the CMD of Suditi, said

“The deals continue to strengthen our commitment within the sports apparel sector. We wish to strike similar deals with leading football teams worldwide.”

The merchandise will be made available through major department stores and online but no further details are available at this time.
