Arsenal flop Willian in apparently in talks with Fulham regarding a return to the Premier League as he looks to leave Corinthians after numerous problems.

As we reported in June, Willian is not happy back in Brazil with Corinthians.

35 appearances with one goal and four assists show that it hasn’t been going well on the pitch for the former Chelsea star.

Away from the pitch, his family have been subjected to vile threats and abuse that required the police to get involved.

As a result, he would quite like to leave.

William still has 16 months left on his current deal, but he also has a release clause should a European club come calling.

Fulham will no doubt be required to pay some sort of fee for a player who did not adapt well to life in London away from Chelsea, but whether it would be more or less than they managed to pay for Bernd Leno is anyone’s guess.

Clearly missing the city, Willian is now said to be in talks with newly-promoted side although unnamed ‘other clubs’ are also said to be interested.
