Arsenal posted on their website this week to confirm their four nominees for the club Player of the Month award for October.

The Gunners had a strong few weeks, beating Leicester City, Leeds United, and Aston Villa, despite opening the month with a pair of draws against Brighton and Crystal Palace.

Arsenal’s strong defensive record over the month saw Aaron Ramsdale and Gabriel Magalhaes nominated for the award. The two have been consistently impressive in limiting the opposition to just three goals in their four games in October.

They were both on top form in the most recent win over Leicester, with Gabriel scoring the opening goal and Ramsdale making eight saves to ensure Arsenal went home with a clean sheet.

At the other end, Emile Smith Rowe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have played starring roles. Both provided two goals and an assist in the four league games.

There’s no doubt that all four nominees deserved the recognition this month. Ramsdale is probably the favourite, given how popular he is with supporters right now, but you can vote for your winner here.
