Mesut Ozil scored a brilliant solo goal for Fenerbahce on Sunday to draw his side level as they came back from 1-0 down to win 2-1.
With his side one-nil down at Galatasaray, Mesut Ozil latched on to a long ball, running through on goal to finish with confidence.

The scores remained level until the 90th minute, when Miguel Crespo pounced to steal the points for Fenerbahce.

Mesut Ozil gets warning from Fenerbahce president
It’s been a while since Mesut Ozil made the headlines but this weekend he has been warned to put his commercial interests to one side and think about ‘contributing’ to Fenerbahce,’ by his club’s president.
Mesut Ozil’s life in Turkey does not seem to be faring much better on the football pitch than his final months at Arsenal before he was ousted from the team.
At least, not if you listen to what Fenerbahce’s president has been saying.
The 33-year-old, who is now valued at around £3.4m, has scored five goals, with one assist, in 14 appearances this season despite rarely being played for the full 90 minutes.
“Since the start of this season, Mesut Ozil has been compared to Robin van Persie (in terms of his status at Fenerbahce),” Ali Koc, Fenerbahce president told Fernebache TV.
“Ozil wants to play more.
“From now on, he needs to focus on his game and keep his commercial interests out of it.
“He needs to think about contributing to Fenerbahce.
“Our coach also needs to try to figure out how to get the most out of Ozil.
“There is not a problem, despite what the media says.
“Mesut is unhappy because he does not play regularly.”
Ozil has only started four games in the league this season. Groin injures have ruled him out of two games while the ‘flu ruled him out of a third.
Having played 761 minutes in total, Ozil is averaging a goal or assist every 126 minutes.
Only Fenerbahce’s centre forward, Enner Valencia, has scored more than Ozil.
He has seven, with two assists, but has played 150 minutes more. His average is a goal or assist every 91 minutes.
