Arsenal had 20 players called up for senior internationals over the break, let’s take a look at all of their results.

After an encouraging month for Arsenal fans, we had to take another break for the final round of internationals in 2021.

Given Arsenal’s form, it’s perhaps not surprising to see so many players involved with their countries this time.

  • Vietnam 0-1 Japan – Tomiyasu played 90 minutes at left-centre-back as Japan kept a clean sheet away to Vietnam.

Friday, 12th November

  • Gabon 1-0 Libya – Aubameyang played 90 minutes and scored for Gabon, but came off in injury time with a knock.
  • Moldova 0-2 Scotland – Tierney played 90 minutes and made a vital goal-stopping tackle.
  • Angola 2-2 Egypt – Elneny played 90 minutes and scored for Egypt.
  • England 5-0 Albania – Smith Rowe made his debut for 13 minutes as a substitute.
  • Uruguay 0-1 Argentina – Torreira played 90 minutes for Uruguay.

  • Bosnia & Herzegovina 1-3 Finland – Kolasinac came off after 39 minutes following a red-card foul that left him with an ankle injury.
  • Norway 0-0 Latvia – Odegaard played 90 minutes for Norway and won the Man of the Match award.
  • Ivory Coast 3-0 Mozambique – Pepe came on as a second-half substitute for the final 20 minutes.

  • Ghana 1-0 South Africa – Partey didn’t end up joining up with Ghana, but they got a vital win in his absence to top their group and make the World Cup qualification play-off round.

Monday, 15th November

  • San Marino 0-10 England – Saka scored one, Smith Rowe scored one and assisted one, and Ramsdale kept a clean sheet. Saka and Ramsdale played 90 minutes, Smith Rowe played 73.
  • Scotland 2-0 Denmark – Tierney played 87 minutes and helped Scotland to a clean sheet.

  • Oman 0-1 Japan – Tomiyasu played 90 minutes at centre-back and helped Japan to another clean sheet.
  • Cameroon 1-0 Ivory Coast – Pepe came on for 21 minutes as a substitute, but defeat condemned the Ivory Coast to missing next year’s World Cup.
  • Netherlands 2-0 Norway – Odegaard played 90 minutes for Norway, but his team were also condemned to missing out on the World Cup.
  • Finland 0-2 France – Guendouzi came on as a substitute for France for 23 minutes and his international debut.
  • Bolivia 3-0 Uruguay – Torreira played 68 minutes for Uruguay.
