Arsenal are tracking Inter Milan forward Martin Satriano, as the Serie A side come under financial pressure to sell the youngster.

The Daily Mail report that Arsenal are one of a number of Premier League clubs targeting a move for Martin Satriano, with Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, and Everton also tracking the forward.

Manchester City and Chelsea were also previously linked with Satriano, though it’s unclear whether they remain in the race for his signature.

The Mail suggest Arsenal are in the market for striking reinforcements, and Inter are aware they may have to cash in on Satriano to help the club settle debts, despite how highly they rate him.

Arsenal were also named alongside Chelsea as admirers of the striker back in February, so the links aren’t entirely new.

The 20-year-old spent the season playing with Inter Milan’s academy team, Inter Milan Primavera. He scored 14 goals and assisted a further six in 30 appearances as his side narrowly missed out on top spot in the league on goal difference.

There’s a lot of uncertainty in Arsenal’s centre-forward position right now, with some linked with exits, others out of form, and a few still waiting for a proper chance.

The position certainly doesn’t seem like a priority for summer signings, but it could become one after outgoings.
