Mesut Ozil was on another planet during Arsenal’s emphatic 5-0 win over Huddersfield.

Arsenal got off their mark early with a fourth-minute goal from Alexandre Lacazette. It looked as if it was going to be a straight-forward win, and the scoreline probably suggests it was, but it was anything but.

The Gunners took their foot off the break from around the 20th minute until the second half, where they still struggled to get a grip of the game early on.

Fortunately, despite the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Granit Xhaka not really turning up, Ozil went on a mad one, assisting twice and scoring in the space of three minutes. What a player he is. He’s simply unstoppable when he’s in this form and I’m definitely here for the midfielder continuing to make pundits look stupid.

Here’s how everyone got on individually against Huddersfield.

2. Midfield

Granit Xhaka – 6

Xhaka was poor again, wasting balls and rarely choosing the right pass. However, he was key for Laca’s opening goal.

Aaron Ramsey – 8

The midfielder’s flick to Alexandre Lacazette in the fourth minute for the Frenchman’s goal was masterful. It can be frustrating when he attempts the little tricks but beautiful when he pulls them off. He also bagged himself another assist for Ozil’s goal.

Sead Kolasinac – 6

The Tank looked a lot more comfortable than the match at Turf Moor and even provided a late assist for Olivier Giroud’s second goal.

Hector Bellerin – 6

The wing-back was mostly anonymous through the match. He completed 91% of his passes and put in two key passes. He didn’t do much wrong but had a quiet game.
