Arsenal are through to the fifth round of the Carabao Cup after beating Norwich 2-1 at the Emirates.

Thanks to a certain 18-year-old called Eddie Nketiah, the Gunners are through to the next round of the League Cup despite being 1-0 down – and deservedly so – for 86 minutes.

The entire team, even the likes of Jack Wilshere, were dragging their feet and despite Reiss Nelson putting in a decent shift early on, the while starting XI were mostly disjointed and stagnant.

Eddie changed that when he came on in the 85th minute and scored within seconds of being on the pitch.

The teenager then put Arsenal 2-1 up in the fifth minute of extra time.

Here’s how the Gunners did individually.

2. Midfield

Reiss Nelson – 6

The 17-year-old was lively and constantly trying to drive play forward. However, he was lacking that cutting edge as the game wore on.

Francis Coquelin – 4

The midfielder was missing for Norwich’s goal, which isn’t exactly surprising. He continued to be horrific, sloppy and infuriating throughout.

Jack Wilshere – 6

The 25-year-old wasn’t up to his usual standard. He couldn’tquite get involved and when he did he couldn’t quite pick out the right passes, which is unusual for him. Perhaps because no one else was bothering to move.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles – 6

Like Nelson, the 20-year-old was always trying to get involved. While he’s not quite as exciting to watch as his 17-year-old teammate, he was strong in the box early on but lost a grip on the game after the opening half-an-hour.
