Arsene Wenger is reportedly on a quest to freshen up his squad this summer, especially in midfield as Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mesut Ozil are all linked with moves away from the Emirates.

Corentin Tolisso is one of the alleged targets for Wenger after the Lyon midfielder emerged in reports linking him with the Gunners.

The 22-year-old had an impressive season with Lyon and has attracted a lot of interest from big European clubs.

The Frenchman is keen to make a move this summer to improve his chances of making it into the French national team for the upcoming World Cup 2018 in Russia.

Lyon have apparently put a £30 million price tag on the player, which can be interpreted as a fair price for the player of his qualities.

With 14 goals and six assists, Tolisso is a very useful player for his team going forward as he makes good passing decisions and clever runs into the right areas to get himself into dangerous positions.

On the other hand, his defensive work is a bit lacking, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a little focused training.

He would be a very good signing for Arsenal and would fit well in the current system.
