David Rocastle played for Arsenal Football Club. The former English midfielder joined the Arsenal Academy in 1982 and made his first team debut in 1985. Rocastle left Arsenal for Leeds United in 1992 for £2m. In total, he made 277 appearances for Arsenal and scored 34 goals. “Rocky” wore the number 7 shirt for Arsenal, but he wore several numbers as well during his time at the club. Rocastle was born on May 2, 1967. He passed away on March 31, 2001 from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma at the age of 33.
