We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Ad sales & marketing guru – small retainer + commission

Do you love Arsenal? Do you want the chance to create your own job role? Do you love sales and marketing? Then you could be exactly who we are looking for.

We are a small but growing company who are looking for a direct ad sales person to join our team. As you’d be the first person to take up this position with us, you would help create your job role and, with time, hopefully help others when they join the team.

This job can be done from anywhere in the world, but we do ask that English is your first language or you speak and write it to that standard.

Key duties will include:

  • Contacting companies to sell ad space directly
  • Helping to market Daily Cannon through innovative and creative marketing campaigns on an (initially) extremely tight budget

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please email [email protected] with your CV, a short bit about yourself including why you’re mad enough to support Arsenal, and what you think you could bring to this role.

Ladies news writer – (poorly) paid position

Here at Daily Cannon, one of our missions is to ensure that the women’s game is covered more comprehensively than it is at present. We don’t see the ladies team as separate, they are Arsenal and, as such, we want to know all about them.

If you are a keen follower of the ladies’ team and would like to write about them on a regular basis, read on:

You will be:

  • An Arsenal ladies news junkie, gobbling up everything you can about the club
  • Passionate and keen to learn
  • Able to write to a high standard in English
  • Available irregular hours that are match dependent
  • Have access to a reliable PC and internet connection
  • Able to generate ideas that provoke discussion
  • Able to work quickly and accurately
  • In possession of a personality that shines through your writing

What we offer

  • A (extremely) small payment per post (which will increase inline with site growth)
  • Access to a large audience of Arsenal fans
  • Training and development
  • The chance to interview Arsenal ladies players and others associated with the club
  • The chance to go to Arsenal events
  • A great team of dedicated Arsenal fans to work alongside (virtually)

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please email [email protected] with your CV, a short bit about yourself including why you’re mad enough to support Arsenal, and what you think you could bring to this role.
