Arsenal have racked up a total of seven players unavailable for the trip to Standard Liege on Thursday thanks to injury or suspension.

Arsenal posted their latest injury update on Wednesday, with a couple of additional inclusions to what we already knew.

Firstly, Dani Ceballos is still out, and still aiming to return to training in mid-December. Rob Holding’s bruising to his knee now has a timeframe on it, with the centre-back set to miss another two weeks.

Shkodran Mustafi is suspended after picking up three bookings in the Europa League group stage. Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney both picked up injuries on Monday, and will both miss Thursday’s match. Tierney could miss a lot longer with a dislocated shoulder.

Additionally, Nicolas Pepe and Granit Xhaka are out of the game. Pepe bruised his left knee and Arsenal will assess him ahead of the Manchester City game. Xhaka has a concussion and will miss both games this week.

I guess we had a day to enjoy Arsenal’s first league win in two months. Back to the harsh reality of the current situation now.
