Arsenal recently announced that they would be playing Angers in a pre-season friendly and it seems it is to help the French club celebrate their 100th anniversary.

Arsenal will play Angers on July 31 before facing Barcelona on August 4 in their final two friendlies.

The game against the French side was a late addition to Arsenal’s schedule and they’re playing there to help Angers celebrate 100 years since their founding:
