The Adidas shirt leaks are coming thick and fast at the moment, and the latest is a divisive pre-match shirt for Arsenal’s 2019/20 season.

At first, Arsenal’s Adidas shirt leaks were proving popular with supporters, with a home training shirt and a European training kit going down well with fans. However, the new ‘Adidas Arsenal 19-20 Anthem Jacket’ leaked this week, and followers of the Gunners weren’t so impressed.

They haven’t had to wait long for another leak to give their opinions on though, with Footy Headlines posting leaked pictures of one of Arsenal’s pre-match shirts for next season.

It has a rather outlandish design, and it’s reportedly being released as part of Adidas’ ongoing collaboration with recycling company Parley, with ‘For the Oceans’ printed on the neck tape.

Arsenal fans had mixed feelings about it, with some appearing to like the design, whereas others were clearly not pleased.

At the end of the day, it’s only a pre-match shirt, so anyone who doesn’t like it can just avert their eyes during the warm-up. The important thing is for Adidas to get the actual match kits right, and we’ll have to wait and see whether they do.

The kit manufacturer has done pretty well to keep the final designs for those shirts under wraps so far, given the shirt normally leaks well before May. It’s unlikely to stay secret for much longer though.
