Wolfsburg are apparently in ‘pole position’ to land Belgian winger Leandro Trossard despite Arsenal scouting him since the beginning of time.

Back in November, Trossard’s agent admitted that Arsenal were watching his client but nothing was done about it as the club look to find the ideal solution to their winger problem. Recently, however, it was claimed they were back in touch.

With 11 goals and four assists in 24 Jupiler Pro League games, Trossard might be the answer to Arsenal’s wide problems but the club will have to make a move soon if they want to beat out Wolfsburg who are very keen on the player according to reports from Belgium.

They are set to enter talks with his agent this week.

One main problem, apart from the fact Arsenal haven’t even made a move, is the player believes he will get more playing time in Germany than in London with Arsenal.
