A year on from the last time Arsenal were linked with a move for Dennis Praet, the rumours are back and the club are said to be ‘weighing up’ an offer for Lucas Torreira’s former Sampdoria teammate.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal’s interest in the Belgian midfielder Dennis Praet is still ‘ongoing’ and they have been watching the 24-year-old this season.

Sampdoria are believed to want in the region of €20m for the player and Arsenal are trying to work out if that’s a fee they want to pay.

Praet has two goals and two assists for Samp in 29 Serie A appearances this season.

He renewed his contract back in November, tying him to the club until 2021.
