Hold on to your butts, we have a new name in the Transfer Mill – Alexis Claude-Maurice who is reportedly attracting attention from Arsenal, Lille and Atletico Madrid.

Aged just 20, Alexis Claude-Maurice currently plays or FC Lorient in Ligue 2, a happy hunting ground for Arsenal.

An attacking midfielder, this rumour could be straight out of the Arsene Wenger handbook given his age, nationality and current club.

The u20 France international has played 29 times in the league for Lorient this season, scoring 13 and assisting three, averaging a goal or assist every 159 minutes.

According to Get French Football News, the clubs listed above have been scouting the player regularly and the French side are looking around €10m for the player that is currently valued at around £900k.

L’Equipe add that Borussia Monchengladbach, AS Monaco and Eintracht Frankfurt are also interested in the player who is reportedly interested in a project that “will allow him to play, to go to the next level, to enjoy himself,” according to those close to the player.
