The Mirror write that Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City are all eyeing the 26-year-old’s transfer this summer. The Morocco international has two years left on his deal, but he’d be available for just £25m, according to the report.

Ziyech has been an important part of the Ajax team currently top of the Eredivisie, through to the domestic cup final and the semi-final of the Champions League. He’s scored 19 goals, assisted 17 and won three penalties leading to goals this season, making 42 appearances so far.

Ziyech has spent most of this season playing on the right wing, though he’s also capable of playing on the left or in the middle. He could provide a fairly cheap and incredibly talented boost to Arsenal’s wide options, an area the team has struggled with this season.

The winger’s stats in the Netherlands are fantastically impressive. WhoScored list passing, through balls, key passes, crossing, finishing, long-shots, direct free-kicks, taking set-pieces, dribbling, holding on to the ball, defensive contribution and concentration as his strengths, with just tackling as a weakness.

It’s hard to tell how much of that the player could hold onto in the Premier League, but even half of that would still make Ziyech a very effective purchase. Plus, his two goals and one assist in four knockout games against Real Madrid and Juventus prove he can do it against the big teams. We’ll see what happens this summer.
