Ajax has set a price of £15m on left-back Nicolas Tagliafico amid interest from Arsenal, as well as Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid.

Spanish outlet AS claim Tagliafico would cost £15m, and Spurs, Atletico and Arsenal have all been linked to a summer move. This comes after reports in the Mail on Sunday claiming the Gunners are looking at the left-back as a summer investment.

Back in February, Fox Sports journalist Martin Liberman claimed Arsenal were willing to pay Tagliafico’s release clause. According to the Argentinian reporter, the Gunners were prepared to offer an ‘irresistible’ contract to the defender.

Tagliafico plays as a full-back, and he’s helped Ajax to some impressive results this season against the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. The Argentine international has five goals and five assists in 34 appearances this campaign.

With Nacho Monreal seemingly running down his contract, Arsenal are going to need to invest in a backup for Sead Kolasinac. The Bosnian defender has had plenty of injury problems and there are no clear options in the academy, so going into a new season like that could mean a year of Granit Xhaka playing there again.
