The first picture of Adidas’ Arsenal training shirt for the 2019/20 season has leaked, as we get closer to the official move away from current shirt manufacturer Puma.

FootyHeadlines shared the above picture of the new kit on their website on Wednesday, though they credit Juls Bustamente with the photo, rather than claiming to have snapped the photo themselves. There’s no knowing how reliable the source is, but FootyHeadlines themselves have a pretty good record for this sort of thing.

Though this is probably just a prototype kit, and the shirts always look better on live models, the design is still a pretty good start so far.

According to leaks last month, Adidas are also planning to bring back the classic ‘Bruised Banana’ away kit for next season. Though the kit will undergo a modern redesign, it will reportedly be a tribute to the old shirt. It’ll be predominantly yellow with navy, and the Adidas logo and trims will be red.

The Gunners are also set to wear a blue third kit in 2019/20, though there are no pictures available of the away kit or the third kit just yet. The home kit will be red as usual. Now it’s just a case of waiting for further leaks of the final designs, before the official release date in July 2019.
