Hector Bellerin has taken advantage of his time out injured to poke fun at Tottenham Hotspur on social media, with a couple of cheeky Twitter likes.

Bellerin is currently spending most of his time recovering and rehabilitating after having to undergo surgery on a ligament injury, but he’s taking the opportunity to put a few smiles on Arsenal fan faces by having a laugh at Tottenham’s expense.

First, after Spurs’ match against Watford drew less than 30,000 fans, despite being hosted at Wembley Stadium, Bellerin ‘liked’ a tweet highlighting just how empty the ground was:

Next, you may have noticed Tottenham have just hit 4,000 days without a trophy. Bellerin certainly has, as he clicked like on this tweet:

Despite his roots in Barcelona, Bellerin clearly understands what it means to be an Arsenal player by now. He’s spent almost eight years with the club, matching the time he was with Barca’s academy, so it’s no surprise he’s started to take on the team’s rivalries as his own.

Hopefully, the right-back makes a swift recovery and can continue to prove his worth to the team from the start of next season. We’ll have to wait and see how he progresses.
