Arsenal will tour the USA in pre-season this summer, with details of the locations and opponents seemingly leaking on social media.

Twitter user @DarrenArsenal1 has revealed that the tour will involve trips to Los Angeles, Washington D.C., North Carolina and Colorado. According to his information, Arsenal will play Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Kroenke-owned Colorado Rapids, though this is all still subject to change.

The tour should be between 13th and 26th July, which is slightly earlier than this year’s schedule.

The leak is also consistent with reports in December that Arsenal would be travelling to the USA, though the details appear to have changed since then. The trip will no doubt form part of 2019’s International Champions Cup.

Arsenal previously travelled to across the Atlantic to face the New York Red Bulls back in 2014. They ended up suffering a 1-0 defeat thanks to a Bradley Wright-Phillips goal, so this is a chance to put things right on American soil.

Bayern have clearly been missing Arsenal since the club dropped down to the Europa League, whilst AC Milan will be out for revenge after back-to-back defeats to The Gunners in the 2017/18 season. Let’s hope for some good matches and the chance for plenty of Americans to see their team in action.
