Arsenal probably wanted to ease Laurent Koscielny back into things but injuries and suspensions meant that he was thrown into the deep end as soon as he showed his Achilles was likely to stay attached to the rest of his leg.

Koscielny returned to play 72 minutes against Qarabag before another 60 against teh Saints at the weekend. He will likely be rested against Spurs in the Carabao Cup quarter-final on Wednesday night but will probably be back in the squad for the league game against Burnley who made it so tricky for Spurs this weekend.

We spoke to Dr. Rajpal Brar, DPT, a Wellness coach and performance specialist from LA about the problems Kos could face as he returns from seven months out with one of the trickiest problems to recover from.
