The player has reportedly been told by the club that’s he’s free to leave, well, free as long as someone coughs up a transfer fee for him. According to media in Spain €10m – €15m should seal the deal.

Olympique Marseille had been hopeful of luring the 24-year to France but he has now, according to some outlets, been offered to Unai Emery.

Because of his fee, Arsenal are said to be mulling over a deal.

Costing approximately £14m, Suarez, who spent a couple of seasons with Manchester City as a youngster, would represent a great deal in today’s market.

Arsenal are known to be on the lookout for an Aaron Ramsey replacement who would cost less week-to-week.

Suarez currently earns £60kpw. Ramsey earns £110kpw and would expect a substantial payrise on any new deal should the club change their minds about offering him one.

Suarez has played just 212 minutes this season and has still managed two goals.
