12 Arsenal academy stars have been called up for England duty over the upcoming international break, so let’s have a look at who made the cut this month.

England u21s

Reiss Nelson has received another call-up to the top England youth side, after his goals for the team last month. England’s u21s play Italy and Denmark and both games are live on BT Sport.

  • Italy v England – 5:30pm, Thursday 15th November
  • Denmark v England – 5pm, Thursday 20th November.

England u20s

Eddie Nketiah and Joe Willock will both join up with the England u20 squad to face Germany in Colchester. The u20 side only has one game over the upcoming break, so let’s hope they both manage to make the starting lineup for it.

  • England v Germany – 7pm, Monday 19th November

England u19s

Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe will take part in England u19s’ European Championship qualifiers, travelling to Turkey for the first qualifying round.

As Arsenal youth expert Jeorge Bird points out, it’s a particularly significant call-up for Saka, considering he’s still eligible for the u17s. His fantastic progress with the young Gunners this season has clearly been noted.

Although, the fact the FA website describes Saka as a “defender” rather than a winger suggests he may be in the squad to cover at left-back, which would be a bit of shame given his clear attacking talent.

  • Moldova v England – Wednesday 14th November
  • Iceland v England – Saturday 17th November
  • Turkey v England – Tuesday 20th November

England u18s

The u18s have a strong Arsenal contingent, with Arthur Okonkwo, Vontae Daley-Campbell, Folarin Balogun and Tyreece John-Jules all in the squad.

They’re taking part in a four-nation tournament in Spain, facing the Netherlands, the Republic of Ireland and Belgium. The congested fixtures as a result of the need to play three matches should ensure all four get a chance.

  • The Netherlands v England – Thursday 15th November
  • Republic of Ireland v England – Saturday 17th November
  • Belgium v England – Monday 19th November

England u17s

Sam Greenwood, Yunus Musah and Miguel Azeez have already received call-ups and played for the England u17s this week. Greenwood scored and Azeez provided an assist in a 3-1 win over the Republic of Ireland.
