Unai Emery will conduct Arsenal’s final training session ahead of their Europa League tie against Qarabag in their stadium rather in London as Arsene Wenger preferred to do towards the end of his reign at the club.

According to Sami Mokbel in the Daily Mail, Wenger would insist on Arsenal training in the familiar surroundings of London Colney the morning before a game as he felt it was unnecessary to train at the away ground, a common practice for most other sides.

Emery, however, a serial winner in Europe, will lead his charges at the Olympic Stadium and conduct his final training session there before Thursday’s game.

Arsenal played seven away games in the Europa League last season, winning 4 and losing 2.

Arsenal will travel to Azerbaijan without Henrikh Mkhitaryan who will stay in London due to the political conflict between Armenia and the host country.
