Matt Macey made an impressive double save as one of two Arsenal loanees to feature over the weekend, but both were on the losing side on this occasion.

Macey started Plymouth Argyle’s 3-2 defeat to Doncaster Rovers, with Argyle’s defence continuing to leak chance after chance. Nonetheless, the goalkeeper did manage to impress on at least one occasion, making a double save to stop the scoreline getting out of hand:

The goalkeeper is getting some mixed reviews at the moment from Plymouth fans. He’s made some great saves, including from a couple of penalties, but seems to let goals in at his near post too often.

David Ospina also started a match at the weekend, as Napoli lost 3-1 to Juventus. It’s a shame he didn’t keep a clean sheet, but the Italian champions do tend to beat anyone and everyone domestically. It’s also not easy playing against Cristiano Ronaldo, who was involved in all three goals. You can see the highlights from the match below:

Takuma Asano and Reiss Nelson were unused substitutes this weekend. Calum Chambers didn’t make Fulham’s squad against Everton. He won’t next week either, as Fulham face Arsenal. Krystian Bielik is still injured, and Porto B didn’t have a game for Kelechi Nwakali to play in.
