Juventus are planning to make an offer to Aaron Ramsey in January, amid reports that the Welshman won’t be extending his contract in North London.

Italian outlet CalcioMercato write that Juventus will make an offer to Ramsey in the winter window. The Serie A side are very much ‘among the clubs in the running’ according to the report.

It really wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Italian champions making a move for a player on a free transfer. It’s something they do regularly, with the likes of Emre Can, Sami Khedira and Dani Alves joining in recent seasons.

For Ramsey, it would give him the chance to move to a top European club and probably add a league title or two to his trophy cabinet. He wouldn’t be guaranteed that same opportunity joining other teams the media have linked him to, like AC Milan or Liverpool. We’ll see what the midfielder prioritises in his next team if he does decide to go.

As a replacement for the former Cardiff City man, the media are once again linking Arsenal to Ever Banega. Emery reportedly contacted the Argentine midfielder personally to try and convince him to sign over the summer.

The player’s father has since confirmed those rumours, telling the Spanish media that Arsenal ‘got in touch’ during the World Cup. At the time, Banega didn’t want to go, since he’s happy in Seville.

However, Banega Sr. refused to rule out a possible move in the future, if talks over the player’s contract continue to stall. Banega has a €20m release clause at Sevilla.
