Aaron Ramsey has been offered around Europe in recent weeks, according to reports in Italy, as his agents try to secure his future away from Arsenal.

In the last month or so, Ramsey’s contract talks with Arsenal have seemingly come to a complete halt. The midfielder’s current deal is set to expire in 2019 and, unless things change, that’s when he’ll leave on a free transfer. That means Ramsey can sign a pre-contract agreement in January with a foreign club.

As a result, Gabriele Marcotti of Corriere dello Sport claims Ramsey’s agency have already offered him to ‘half of Europe’ over the last week. The Italian reporter names Juventus, AC Milan and Lazio as three Italian clubs the agents have targeted, but TuttoMercatoWeb reports that all three aren’t that interested.

I hate to say it, but all the signs are pointing towards Ramsey joining another big-six Premier League club. You’d imagine he’d be leaning towards staying in England already, what with his family settled and twins just having been born. Add in the fact that there aren’t many clubs from abroad trying to convince him to leave the country in the first place.

After 10 years with Arsenal, that would be a real shame. There’s still time for club and player to turn things around, it’s just whether either party really want to do so.
