Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has recovered from his illness and is fit enough to be included in Arsenal’s matchday squad for their game at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

The forward missed out on Arsenal’s midweek Europa League win but it was confirmed on Saturday that he would be back in the squad for the lunchtime game.

Arsenal are seeking their ninth win in a row in all competitions and Auba has four goals in eight games this season, averaging a goal every 154 minutes.

Arsenal also delivered a positive update on Ainsley Maitland-Niles who was recovering from a leg fracture.

An update on Arsenal.com stated, he was “expected to return to full training second week of the forthcoming international period.”

Arsenal still expect Petr Cech to return to training in 3-4 weeks from his hamstring strain, while Laurent Koscielny is still on track for a full training return in November. Dinos Mavropanos should hopefully be in training by the end of October.
