David Seaman reacted with a big grin and a middle finger after a group of Brazilian fans taunted him at the FIFA Best Awards in London on Tuesday.

For those of you who somehow don’t remember, former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman suffered a particularly embarrassing moment with England back in 2002, when he was caught off his line by Brazilian midfielder Ronaldinho. It was the winning goal in the World Cup quarter-finals, and one to forget for Seaman himself.

Unfortunately, Brazilian fans aren’t so keen to let him live it down. A group of supporters gathered outside the FIFA Best Awards taunted the former Gunner with shouts of “Ronaldinho!”

Seaman took it in good humour, grinning and giving the fans the finger in a light-hearted manner:

Seaman seemingly isn’t the kind of person to take taunts like these to heart. He knows what he’s achieved, winning multiple league titles and FA Cups, as well as the League Cup, the Cup Winners’ Cup and the Community Shield.

At the end of the day he’s one of the great goalkeepers in Arsenal history, and that didn’t change because of one mistake with England.

Hopefully Seaman enjoyed the night out, despite the cheeky Brazil fans.
