Vlad Dragomir scored a quite delightful goal for Perugia this weekend as he continues to build his career away from the Emirates.

The 19-year-old put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the club, who play in Serie B, after he was released by Arsenal this summer.

Signed by Arsenal for €115,000 in 2015, Dragomir was released when the new management team decided he would be unlikely to make it as a first-team regular at the club.

As he talked with a number of other clubs, Dragomir returned to Timisoara to maintain his fitness before finding an agreement with Perugia.

Since joining the Italians, Dragomir has played 149 minutes and has already got himself on the scoresheet.

You can watch his goal in the video below:

Dragomir played the full 90 minutes of the game against Palermo but his goal was nothing more than a late consolation as his side were already four down with only 11 minutes remaining when he struck.

When the Romanian was only 17 he was hailed as ‘Mesut Ozil’s heir’.
