Former Arsenal forward, Gervinho, scored a quite wonderful solo goal in Italy this weekend.

The Ivorian struggled to make a name for himself during his two seasons at Arsenal and was soon on his way to Roma.

Two-and-a-half seasons there was followed by a move to China where the winger was promised a whopping £345k for every goal he scored after Hebei China Fortune paid €18m for him. Sadly for Gervinho, he only scored four goals in 29 games and found himself bumped down to their reserves.

After 18 months in China, Gervinho headed back to Italy in the summer. A £6.3m deal saw him sign for Parma where he already has two goals in four appearances.
