At the mid-way point of the international break, things are going very well for Arsenal’s stars with their countries.

Eight Arsenal players have featured for their country so far, of the nine called up. Let’s have a look at how each of them are doing individually:

Aaron Ramsey scored as Wales dominated Ireland in a 4-1 win. He could play again in a match against Denmark on Sunday, but it’s not likely to be a particularly competitive fixture, given the country’s current personnel problems.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mohamed Elneny also grabbed goals for their countries. Aubameyang scored for Gabon against Burundi, but it was only enough for a 1-1 draw. Elneny got his goal in a 6-0 win for Egypt over Niger.

Danny Welbeck should also have had a goal for England against Spain, after coming off the bench in injury time. Unfortunately it was harshly ruled out for a foul on the goalkeeper.

Granit Xhaka captained Switzerland to a 6-0 win over Iceland in the opening match of their UEFA Nations League campaign, but Stephan Lichtsteiner didn’t make an appearance in the match.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos also helped his country to a win and a clean sheet, with Greece defeating Estonia 1-0.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan was the first to admit he didn’t have his best day for Armenia against Lichtenstein, after seeing his penalty saved. Nonetheless, they won 2-1.

Finally, Lucas Torreira helped Uruguay to take a 3-1 lead against Mexico, but came off at half time. There’s some concern he may have picked up a minor injury, but nothing official at this stage. They won the match 4-1.

David Ospina continues to keep his place in goal for Colombia, and they beat Venezuela 2-1.

Takuma Asano hasn’t had the chance to play for Japan so far, after their first friendly was called off thanks to an earthquake.

Kelechi Nwakali got his first call up for the Nigeria squad to face Seychelles, but didn’t make the final 18 for the game.
