Arsenal will face Brentford at the Emirates in the Carabao Cup after the Bees beat Cheltenham 1-0 on Tuesday night and the draw was made on Thursday.
Despite Arsenal and Brentford having close ties, the two sides have only faced each other competitively 12 times and have not played each other since 1947, outside of the traditional pre-season opener.
