In terms of arrivals, the summer window is shut for English clubs but they can still sell players until the end of the month.

As that’s the case, any figures released now for sales will only be provisional, but given the amount of speculation during the summer, let’s see what Arsenal really spent on players – and what they received from their sales so far.

All figures are via The Guardian, who are one of the more reliable outlets when it comes to information:

Arsenal will hope to bring in some extra cash before the end of August with the sale of David Ospina.

The club will also look to shift Danny Welbeck, Joel Campbell, and Carl Jenkinson. It was briefly suggested that the club could also be open to selling Mohamed Elneny but that seems unlikely given his new contract and the fact the club recently gave him the number four shirt.

A number of youngsters will also leave on loan but those deals will not affect the overall transfer budget.
