Alexandre Lacazette has ‘liked’ a Twitter post making fun of former teammate and current Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez.

After another disappointing performance from Sanchez and United on Monday, this time against Tottenham Hotspur in a 3-0 home defeat, Arsenal fans took the opportunity to rub salt in the wounds.

The Chilean’s form has been average at best ever since he joined his new club, and one Twitter user poked fun at the former Gunner with a post about Sanchez’s comparative form with Arsenal and United.

A lot of Arsenal fans enjoyed the tweet, but apparently some of the players did too. Lacazette gave the post a ‘like’, showing that he’s not above poking fun at the 29-year-old.

The pair obviously played together for a brief period at Arsenal, and Lacazette admitted when he joined that he was looking forward to playing with the former Barcelona man and Mesut Özil.

Then Sanchez let Lacazette and the rest of the team down by putting in a series of poor performances then leaving the club in the hopes that United would carry him to trophies. Fortunately, that plan has completely backfired. Long may those struggles continue, and hopefully the Arsenal striker has more opportunities to enjoy them.
