Vlad Dragomir has posted a major hint about his future on Instagram, as speculation continues over whether he’ll sign a new deal to stay with Arsenal.

Dragomir’s previous contract with Arsenal came to an end in June. Since he hadn’t managed to agree a new one, the club included him in their list of players to be released in July.

ProSport then reported quotes from Dragomir’s agent, explaining that they’re still in negotiations with Arsenal over a possible new deal.

Then, on Monday, Dragomir updated his Instagram story with a picture of himself in an Arsenal shirt, along with a “loading” symbol.

This could well be a hint that he’s about to join a new club, as it doesn’t say anything specific about Arsenal. The fact he’s chosen a picture of himself in an Arsenal shirt suggests he’s planning to stick around though.

It would be disappointing to see the Romanian u21 international leave, as he had a solid season with the u23s in 2017/18, scoring six goals and assisting one in 20 league appearances.

He faces a challenge for first-team minutes with Arsenal, considering Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah’s progress, but signing a new deal would show he’s ready to fight for a chance. We’ll see if he does put pen to paper in the coming days.
