Arsenal are prepared to let Joel Campbell and Lucas Perez leave the club this season but two players expected to leave could stay.

In news that will surprise nobody, James Benge, writing in the Evening Standard, says that Arsenal want to sell the forwards permanently rather than deal with more loans.

He lists Lazio as a side that are interested in Lucas, a story we’ve been tracking for some time.

Campbell, who missed the majority of last season through various injuries, will be hoping to make a splash at this year’s World Cup to final seal a permanent move away from the club.

He impressed in his brief appearance from the bench for Costa Rica in their opening game and will e hopeful of getting more minutes in their next match.

Calum Chambers, meanwhile, who has been linked with a move away, is not available despite interest from Fulham.

Like Rob Holding, Unai Emery wants to see the pair in re-season training before making a decision on their future.

As such, the club are not making the players available for transfer just yet.
