Arsenal announced their new away kit for 2018/19 on Thursday morning, which surprised no one after all the leaks in recent days and weeks.

The club officially revealed the away kit on their Twitter account, with a video of the players swinging light-bulbs around. You can barely see the actual kit in the clip, but nonetheless, here it is:

Unfortunately for Puma and Arsenal, we’ve seen it all before. Puma Turkiye accidentally tweeted out the away strip, along with the home kit and third kit, last month. Somehow, no one really noticed until this Wednesday, at which point the account hastily deleted the tweet.

Here’s the picture they accidentally revealed:

As usual, the kits at least look better on the players than they did creased in poorly lit photos from stores that accidentally put them on sale early. Still, the general consensus on social media is that the fans are yet to be won over.

Puma also tweeted their own photos of the kit:

Notably absent from all the promotional photographs and videos is the ‘Visit Rwanda’ sleeve sponsorship. It appears this is just because the photos were taken before the deal was agreed though, because new photos of the kit show the words on the sleeve.

Given the remarkable similarities to the PSG home kit, Unai Emery should feel right at home in away games this season.
